Family company
After WW II there was a great demand for utility vehicles in Holland. There was a great necessaty for alternative horse power as enormous amounts of cars and horses had disappeared during the war. Jeeps were the most obvious alternative. Demand and interest for these peace jeeps increased. It was in these years that H. van Buuren sr. began to collect and repair Willys jeeps.
Very interested in everything that was related to the wartime history, the company was continued by Bram van Buuren in 1975. The jeeps which were formerly used industrially became more and more popular worldwide and were purchased for the hobby. Through a lot of enthousiasm, hard work and the necessary expertise the company soon grew bigger and Bram had to move to another location.
Growing up between jeeps and everything that is 4 wheel driven, Thijs van Buuren, son of owners Bram and Sylvia, is already a little mechanic eversince he was a child. So the passion for historical vehicles stays in the family. After a training in the vehicle branche Thijs is ready to join the family company in 1998. In 2007 he becomes joint-owner with Bram and Sylvia and together with his wife Joyce the company is open 6 days a week at Beusichem. Both Bram and Thijs can be adressed to for technical information and questions about vehicles, spare parts and sales. Nowadays the technical team is also supported by a full time mechanic, Martijn.
Sylvia takes care of the PR and the administration.
